The 5-Minute Check Before Any Big Purchase

Before you buy anything over a few hundred dollars, run this five-minute check. It will save you from most of the regret purchases people make.

Minute one: write down the exact item, including model or year if it applies. Vague comparisons lead to vague decisions.

Minute two: look up what this item has actually sold for recently, not what it is listed for. Listings are asking prices. Sold prices are reality.

Minute three: check where the value is trending. Flat, rising, or falling. This tells you whether today is a good day to buy or a day to wait.

Minute four: compare new versus a slightly used version if that option exists. The price gap is often bigger than people expect.

Minute five: decide based on need, not excitement. If the value is expected to drop and you don't need it this week, wait. If it's stable and you need it, buy.

This whole process used to take a lot longer, digging through listings, asking around, guessing. Predictye compresses it into one search: enter the item, get a fair price estimate and a forward trend, and decide with real information instead of a gut feeling.

Big purchases deserve five minutes of checking. That is a small price for avoiding an expensive mistake.

Don't guess. Just Predictye.
